So what about my kin folk in Eastern Idaho, don't you want to fix the TV and things for them? I reply, simply that they all live in Soda Springs, Grace and further South as well as East in Eastern Idaho. If I were all interested in doing something media wise at least for their benefit Id build a TV station/radio station there. In fact there is a broadcast station there in Soda Springs that could be bought. Even if I did, would it be like here in Pocatello? Where sure I could participate in the buy of either KPIF THE CW, or the cable access channel or any of the, build a Taja Mahall studio with gold fixtures, the problem I see is no matter how great a studio is or could be unless I can find some on air, as well as sales talent to grease the wheels of such a thing it might as well just die at least in my mind. My friend Brian is drowning in a pool of quik sand of station. Sure its programming from the network is great, but locally he is having one mellofahess of a time finding help to sell ads as well as just finding folks willing to advertise on the station, I could have helped there but my help was as I was told not needed. There is no real local connection from Eastern Idaho to KPIF so no one is knocking down the door. I too am in the same spot, on one side I have two hours I fill on the local cable access channel 12 here. Sure that could be improved and all but my reluctance to inform the folks at Confederate Star that the thing is a good investment stems from the point that even if I did some how get the station who the hell is going to help me run it? Sheena was one on camera and in studio talent I thought would be there, but with no vision of immediate money she bailed, likewise two others from up yonder in Idaho Falls bailed. I am not a primarily media person. My course in life is dusting crops from the air, grinding gears building custom trucks and going towing. Not keeping time and having the head pains of doing TV shit. Radio sure as radio is not all that hard, but TV yes its not only expensive but overwhelmingly time consuming. Time for me is no longer a luxury. Both from days and hours a month to time left for me on earth. I need to get things back together so I can generate money. That's one of the reasons I bagged Utah to move up here. Not go through this media crap. So yes if I build a TV station in or near Eastern Idaho I'd more likely do that in or very near Soda Springs, or Montpelier. Not POCATELLO.
