I am trying really hard to keep an open mind when it comes to Pocatello and yet as much as I try there are nights that if I were not a guy I'd cry. But I am after all a Marine, and a male and together that means no room for tears. First Verizon was a real no help on putting my phone back on, and with them wanting nearly $500.00 in a bill what I'm looking at is another cell provider or not getting a cell phone at all. Just get a dang landline hire someone to answer it and if its really important they can get me on my two way. For the same rates I'm paying for cell services I could hire a person to answer the phone and they'd be happy for the job. Because of no phone I missed being dispatched on a over turned propane trailer on I-15 and that could have put nearly $5000.00 in my jeans. We see what Tuesday brings. If that was not bad enuff Sheena did not surface at doing the TV show Monday. Without a phone can't call her to find out so we see what hits on Wednesday. What makes me still very gun shy about doing anything tv in Eastern Idaho and all is even with the BlackSheep and the Hazzard Knytes putting up the money with these no shows as far as talent and all what happens with a news shot or newscast? Do I just sit there and pass gas? Sure America's Next Top Model was a sort of success but still that is a big maybe, here the BlackSheep and the Hazzard Knytes are offering a gig or two, that could put some real loot in their wallets and all I get is a bunch of im-mature girls who are hardly dry behind the ears just giving me fits. But its still early in the game but still the whole dang thing has until May 1st and if I don't see anything better , then as bad as it hurts, Heidi , Courtney Steph Sheena and anyone else involved will just have to fall and understand that something as grand as our plans here while good was just not good in this neighborhood. That's why I have people talent and all do the small thing at CH-12 . If they show up , if they do their work and if the show me something special then I have no big problem putting them on my permanent payroll. After all if this was TV somebody was paying money as far as advertisers go then the talent does not show, who in the end, ends up with egg on their face? Could this be done any better say in Jerome , Twin Falls or even Boise? Perhaps and the final judgement call on that hits in May. Oh well its been a very long day. So I'm off to bed. Will blog more Tuesday.
