When a young man guest hosted with me on Wednesday's TV show on our local cable access channel CH-12 I was sanctioned in reality censored to refrain in telling a young gal who called in about both the real things of sexuality and the legal elements of sexuality. The question was aimed at a situation where she was in love or so she thinks with a 20 something male thinking that she would not get PG, and the fact that she could really get this guy in a world of hurt and distress if she continued the relationship. I was constantly being signaled by CH-12's director to not talk any more. This hinders real open talk about not only the physical parts of being sexually active but the legal parts of being sexually active. The minority in both northern Utah that oozes into eastern Idaho from the major religious body also headquartered in Utah keeps so many confused and looking for answers . Answers I'd be happy to talk about if only I could. Not talking smut or porn but the real facts. But just as most high schools history class's do not talk about Col. Boyington, they do not talk about things that youth need to hear. Now I am no super answer man, but being hitched 2 times and being nearly that way 4 other times I have some real knowledge of most females minds and how they work. Many younger girls who dress older and lure many older men into a web they can't get out of is tragic. For once in her web if he even says anything about him being too old and her way too young, if he upsets her in the slightest way she hollers rape or close to it and his life as he knew it is over. Even if he does manage to squirm out of the rape charge just the fact he gets brought up on such a thing gets him on a sexual predator list and his reputation along with many other things is just plain shot. The LDS Church is not much help here either. No matter the real story. So whether it being told the story of the BlackSheep in history class's or being taught not only the ways of sexuality as well as the legal ends of sexuality, it's just amazing what our schools just do not teach. The fight for equality as a none LDS person in a LDS community. Next entry.
