Welcome to the AyreShack and AyreTraxx for this week. The 214 is still in Burley although work has begun to get things mobile for the move to Pocatello this up coming week. The Miss AyreWolf beauty/talent contest which we will be sponsoring along with the help of KPIF TV from Chubbuck Idaho will be taking place very soon. The award winner will appear in all our advertising throughout 2008 also on KPIF TV-15(Eastern Idaho's CW) Chubbuck Idaho. There will also be 11 other fine looking ladies, that will appear on the 2008/2009 AyreWolf /BlackSheep Squadron calendar. The other awards will be a small cash award as well as expense paid trips to ayre shows, etc. The event will take place at a medium sized lounge called TAPS in Pocatello, sometime in November. Check here for the date and time. Interviews of candidates will begin in late October up to the date of the contest. The candidates must be at least 21 years old verifiable, must be attractive, must be female, and should be available as needed for modeling tv work as needed. All candidates will be tested on heir knowledge of military history, aviation history, as well as poise, personality, and attitude. Military wives, daughters and girlfriends of military men, as well as military women both enlisted, reserve or retired are encouraged to apply. You can do so by email by sending name, phone number and a jpg photo to: ayrewolffm@yahoo.com . Okay enuff of organization bizz. Some have been asking with the move and all has AyreWolf Aviation been scrubbed? The answer surely is a BIG NO. If anything AyreWolf Aviation is what's paying the bills and feeding me. However at this time of the year most of us are on the ground rebuilding our ayrecraft as well as taking our FAA advanced class's as well as tests. So more squeeze and grease is being put on what our company does in the winter which is tow, (see Highway Hooker Tow Tymez SpeedBlog.) This spring we will be building our new hangars and the new AyreShack at the Power County/ American Falls Airport American Falls Idaho. This will be the new Eastern Idaho home to the BlackSheep Vintage Aviation Association as well as us here at AyreWolf Aviation. Finally this week, need to tell you that investigation has begun into building or finding a place to open the first military aviation oriented bar in Eastern Idaho. Locations for that in consideration are American Falls, Blackfoot, and Idaho Falls Idaho. Of course you know the name of the bar; it will be of course the Sheep's Pen. That's right honoring the VMF214 and VMA214 BlackSheep Squadron. On my final approach here this Monday: 24/09/2007, 00:24 Hours, I have not been able to get in the ayre for two or so weeks. Due to a nasty flu or something, that I must have caught. It could also be exposure to a new farm chemical I was sing in spraying some crops. Don't know right now it hasn't been determined but at least my hearing is better and the fever is not so bad. I had a headache Sunday morning but that had more to do with the two beers I had at TAPS Saturday night. Now here on the tarmac, need to give out birthday howls to Lt. Singer VMA214 MEU Yuma Arizona, CPL Muir 419th Wing Hill Air Force Base Utah, SSGT Junkert 833rd Mountain Home AFB Mountain Home Idaho. Until we fly again fly safe.
